goodbye FT Lewis?

I just finished up my pass in Seattle....other than the homeless n bad weather it was allright. It was weird to adjust to civilian life and now back to military life. I spent most of the time with Jess and another couple that was on pass too. I had my first beer in 8 weeks. It was fantastic...lots of cool little places to eat n drink at. The top picture is one of my bags that weighs alot. It is 1 out of 4 bags that i have packed up that are ready to go. I was able to draw my M249 saw again today....I was given a brand new one. We will see how this one works....I liked my last one.

  1. Hi!
Juat put a store-bought blueberry pie in the oven, Smells good....today being Saturday I'm not pushing myself to go to the Hoffman Wellness Center. (plenty to do there,) The programs on billing have been changed and we are getting e-mail instructions like crazy, and also we've had open house for national library week, serving cookies & coffee along with tours & conversation. Last evenung the Hoffman Bank had free porkchop supper at the community center, and then on to the Bingo Parlor where I won 3 games. I was really hot for awhile. This retirement life is hard on a person. Ha! All the snobirds have come back from TX & AZ so we have a pretty good bunch on the 3 afternoons we play 500 & Whist....6 tables yesterday. We have county tournament in process also & play at Elbow Lake next Tuesday.
Glad you are on the ground and sounds like you are in a good location. Learn, learn while you are in these early years of your life, do your best and may our Lord Watch over you. We all love you so much! Gram Jo
